Android Mobile App

Installing the app

Simply search for ‘ekmPowershop’ on Android Marketplace, or click here.

Once you’ve installed the app, run it and you’ll see the login page…

Simply enter your ekmPowershop.com username and password then hit ‘login’. You will then be taken to the App dashboard. Across the top of the screen you will see 3 tabs/buttons:

- Dashboard
- Orders
- Customers

Dashboard

The app dashboard shows you:

- Today’s summary
- Today’s orders

Today’s summary:

Gives shop owners a total on the number of orders placed, and the total value of all orders placed today. Perfect for totting up your day’s takings whilst on the move!

Today’s orders:

Displays the day's orders, along with with the order values.

Orders

The 2nd of the 3 tabs along the top takes you to view your orders…

Simply tap an order to view it in full:

From here you can view the items in the order by tapping ‘Product Details’. To get back to the order, simply hit the back button on your Android smart phone. You can also view the customer details by tapping on their name.

Customers

The 3rd tab along the top takes you to ‘Customers’. From here you can search through your customers, view the emails they have received from you, and communicate with them direct through your Android smart phone.

Email

Tap on the customer’s email address to be taken to your smart phone’s ‘Send Email’ shortcuts (Gmail, messaging etc.)

Telephone

Tap on the telephone number to dial the customer:

Communication

Tap on the communication tab to view emails sent from your online shop to the customer:

*Any emails sent from your Android smart phone to the customer will not be stored in your online shop – only emails sent from within the ekmPowershop.com control panel will appear here.

Search

You can search your customers by tapping the magnifying glass in the top right hand corner at any time. When you tap the magnifying glass, a search box will appear. Here you can search any field in relation to a customer i.e telephone number, name, email address, post code etc. Once you have entered your search, hit enter or ‘Go’ and your results will appear:

Click on the result items to view your customer of choice.

Filtering order statuses

When in the ‘orders’ tab, tapping the search box when left blank will also allow you to filter all orders by their status, i.e. pending, failed, completed etc:
