Postcode ferret

Postcode Ferret is an easy to use postcode lookup tool that integrates into your shop.

During checkout on your online shop, it allows your customers to enter their postcode and select their house number from a drop down list and the system will automatically populate the rest of the address details.

Installation

To install the feature the customer logs into their ekmPowershop account clicks into features.

Once on the features page click onto the postcode lookup and install the feature.

Payments

Postcode Ferret is a premium service and therefore has additional costs. This is because Royal Mail charge businesses for using their postcode data. Pricing is based on a price per lookup, the more credits you buy the cheaper each lookup becomes.

Postcode Ferret control panel

Each customer that signs up for postcode ferret will have a control panel they can access to buy more credits.

The customer will log into their account using the following details:

• Email Address
• Password

• Number of Credits
• Last time the user logged in
• Latest 5 Lookups

To buy more credits click the buy button next to the amount of credits you want to order.

Your credits will then be added to your account within 24 hours.
